What Makes The Best Article

I have found that article marketing is about the best method for attracting targeted traffic to your web pages.

No Need To Spend Money On Article Marketing

I work from home writing most of my own articles. I don’t write all my own articles now as I have too many sites on the go, so outsourcing works wonders for giving back some of my time.

What Makes A Great Article?

Step 1: Know Your Topic Before Writing

I have read hundreds, perhaps thousands of articles since starting online.

Sadly a huge number of those articles I left for one reason or another. What was the reason I didn’t use those articles?

  • article was way off topic.
  • articles were full of garbage content.
  • articles were just full of crap, no good uptodate content.
  • a lot of articles were written in very poor english.
  • some articles were done with articles spinners and used words no human would use while talking.

Okay it’s time to confess, I have written a few of those articles myself by not studying my topic enough.

Note: All you have online is your reputation.

Take the time to learn your topic or if it’s that important to you then outsource that article topic, but don’t write crap.

Step 2: Give Your Readers What They Want

So, you have studied your subject matter enough to write a great article you need to give your reader some answers as the majority of readers are hungry for answers. Of course you never give away the farm, just enough to get the click.

The perfect way to get clicks on affiliate ads.

Step 3: Break Your Article Into Bite Size Pieces

Most readers get overwhelmed quickly for this reason you should  give them bite size pieces to scan through. I know I like to be able to scan what I am going to read before I start reading.

Create A Keyworded Article Title: Most important is your article title as usually it’s the title people find first, after reading your title they make the choice to read the article or skip it.

Section Titles Should Be Keyworded: Include multiple sections in your article and a couple of keyword phrases throughout your article.

Your main keyword phrase should be in the article title , near the beginning, middle and at the end of your article.

Use secondary keywords relevant to your main keyword through your article as well, espeically in your section titles.

Your Article Should Hit A Nerve: We are emotional beings so go for that emotional response in your reader and you can do quite well in article marketing.

Step 4: Remember You Are Writing An Article Not A Book

People ask me how long should an article be. In my humble opinion an article should only be as long as it needs to be to get the points across. And get to the point, don’t use filler to make the article longer, that just turns readers off.

Personally I’ve found articles that run in the 300 words to 500 words to work best. If I find I am going beyond that I prefer to break the article into multiple part articles.

In Conclusion

Article marketing can be really easy once you have done your homework.
